Dashline website design

Our web design
process

01

Strategy

Strategy first, so every page has a purpose.

We start with a workshop that pins down who the site is for, the one thing it has to say, and how you differ from the alternatives. Sites tend to fail here, by speaking to everyone and landing with no one. We use a StoryBrand structure to put the visitor at the center of the story before a single page is designed.

02

Structure

Settle the structure before the visuals distract.

We map the information architecture and lay out lo-fi wireframes: what goes on each page, in what order, and why. Settling structure in greyscale means the arguments about content happen while they are cheap to resolve, not after the visuals are polished.

03

Design

A system your team can keep building on.

We design the pages in high fidelity, built as a modular system of reusable sections rather than a stack of one-off layouts. A component system keeps the site consistent, speeds up every page after the first, and hands your team a documented style guide to build on.

04

Motion

We add motion where it earns its place.

Scroll-driven reveals, micro-interactions, and the occasional custom animation that makes a technical product click. Movement here guides attention rather than decorating the page. Used well, a single considered transition does the work of a paragraph.

05

Build & handoff

A site your team can edit, not call us for.

We build the site in Webflow, or hand developer-ready files to your engineering team, then run responsive QA across breakpoints so it holds up from wide desktop to mobile. You leave with a site your team can edit and extend, not one you have to call us to change.

Selected work

The Software House website redesign

The Software House, a redesign that moved the numbers

We took a complex offering aimed at several different audiences and rebuilt it into a single component system, clear to navigate and fast to extend with new pages. After a brand discovery workshop and a redesign spanning more than 300 pages, the site saw a 56% increase in leads.

EBSI website design

EBSI, credibility for EU public infrastructure

The European Blockchain Services Infrastructure connects institutions across the EU into a shared verification network, the kind of technical product that lives or dies on trust. We redesigned and built it in Webflow using a StoryBrand structure, focused on clarity and visual credibility.

BIONTEC website for a carbon composite manufacturer

BIONTEC, a story for a wall of specs

A large-scale manufacturer expanding into new markets had to earn trust with audiences that had never heard of them. We structured the UX around StoryBrand, trading a page of technical specifications for a clear, confident narrative, then brought it to life with custom on-scroll animation.

We've helped over 300 companies, including:

Questions?
We've got you.

How much do web design services cost?

It depends on scope. Cost tracks the number of unique page designs, the depth of the visual and motion work, and whether we build the site or hand it off. A discovery call gets you a realistic range for your project.

How long does a website take to design?

A small site can move in a few weeks. A larger site with a strategy workshop, a full component system, and a Webflow build runs longer, often a few months from kickoff to launch. Because we work in phases with concrete deliverables, you see the homepage and core pages take shape early rather than waiting for a single final reveal.

What’s the difference between web design and web development?

Design decides how the site looks, reads, and works: the structure, the visuals, the motion. Web development builds it, turning the design into a live, functioning site, usually in Webflow. We do both, and our web development services pick up the design and build it to match, but they’re separate stages with separate craft.

What’s the difference between this and product design?

Web design is for websites: marketing sites, company sites, landing pages, the public face of your business. Product design is for the app or platform people log into and use. The disciplines share UX and UI craft, but the goals differ. A website has to convince in seconds; a product has to hold up over months of daily use.

Do you build the site or just design it?

Either. As a Webflow Enterprise Partner, we can take a project from strategy through to a live, editable Webflow site your team runs without a developer. We also work with Wordpress, React, Drupal, or custom stacks with our development team at Widedev. If you want to handle dev, we hand over developer-ready files and a documented component system instead.

Ready to launch a site that
works as hard as you do?

Whether you’re rebuilding a site that no longer fits or launching a first one, our web design services turn a complex offer into a clear, credible experience people act on.
