Software Development
Services

We design and build custom software end to end, from a first MVP to a platform engineered to scale, with the same senior team owning the product from idea to launch.

Our software
development process

01

Scoping

We define what to build first.

The MVP that proves the idea, the stack that fits it, and the architecture underneath. Making the right call here is the difference between a product that scales and one that has to be rebuilt in a year. We’d rather spend a day arguing about the data model than a month unwinding the wrong one.

02

Architecture

We design the system before we build it.

The data model, the services, the integrations, and the infrastructure it runs on. Good architecture is invisible when it works and expensive when it’s skipped, so we settle it before the code multiplies.

03

Build

Built in the open, not behind closed doors.

We develop the frontend and backend in iterative sprints, shipping working software you can try at the end of each one. Building in the open means you steer the product as it takes shape rather than waiting to see it at the end. Short sprints also keep risk small: a wrong assumption shows up in a week, not a quarter.

04

Quality assurance

Quality checked before it meets real traffic.

We test as we build, with automated tests, code review, and checks on performance and security. Software that runs on the developer's machine is all well and good, but what you need is software that holds up under real user load.

05

Launch & maintenance

We stay after launch, not just for it.

We deploy the product, set up monitoring and observability, and support it once it’s live. A product is never really finished, so we build for the version after this one and stay to help it grow.

Selected work

Founderpath financial platform dashboard

Founderpath, a financial platform for bootstrapped SaaS

We built the web application behind a service that funds and analyzes bootstrapped SaaS companies: a React front-end over a Node and Laravel backend, with Stripe for payments, Postgres and MySQL for data, and Sentry and DataDog watching it in production. Payments, funding logic, and live analytics all run through the same system, so accuracy becomes the whole product.

Enhanced Services scheduling app on mobile

Enhanced Services, a scheduling system that has to hold up daily

We built an operational platform for scheduling teachers, running on a .NET backend with a React front-end, delivered as a web and mobile web app so staff can use it wherever they are. Software like this earns trust by being dependable, not by being flashy.

Questions?
We've got you.

How much do software development services cost?

Cost is determined by the complexity of the features, the stack in use, and how much it has to scale. An MVP that proves an idea costs less than a full platform with multiple integrations, a mobile app, and its own infrastructure. Scope is easy to underestimate at the start, since the modules you end up needing often surface once we dig in, so we pin down a real range in a short discovery phase rather than a single call.

How long does software development take?

A small MVP can ship in a matter of weeks, a more involved one in a couple of months, and a full platform is an ongoing engagement that grows with the product. Because we build in sprints, you get working software early and often, rather than waiting for one large release that might miss the mark. We agree scope and milestones upfront, so ongoing doesn't mean open-ended.

What’s the difference between software development and web development?

Web development builds websites and web apps that run in the browser, most often in Webflow or a front-end stack. Software development builds custom applications: real backends, databases, mobile apps, and the infrastructure behind them. If it’s a website, our web development services fit. If it’s a product with engineering behind it, this is the team.

Do you build the whole product, or only part of it?

Either. We can take a product from design through to a launched, maintained application, or plug into your team on the frontend, the backend, or the infrastructure. Because we design and build under one roof, the handoffs that usually slow a project down are gone.

What technologies do you work with?

The one your product needs. Most of our work runs on TypeScript with React and Next.js on the front end, and Node.js, Java or PHP on the back end, with content managed in Sanity, Prismic, WordPress or Webflow. Two things matter more than the names. If you already have a stack and a team, we work inside it instead of rebuilding around it. If you're starting from scratch, we pick something ordinary and widely supported, so you can hire for it later and you are never dependent on us to keep the product running. We also set up the hosting, deployments and monitoring, and the code is yours from day one. If you want the specifics for your case, ask us - we'll walk you through them.
