Brand identity for Fathom: business cards and gradient visuals

Know where you’re
going, and why

We work through a framework: a workshop to find the inputs, our analysis to make sense of them, a strategy that follows. Reasoning first, taste second.

01
Evidence over opinion

Research is always the start, from a structured workshop that grounds your positioning in who your buyers are and what they believe.

02
A defensible position

We define where you stand against the competition, from the POV of a buyer, so you can claim the space you can confidently hold, and scale.

03
A message per audience

Every buyer needs something different, so we create a strategy that can both set a core story and adapt to messages they need to hear.

04
A documented rationale

Think of it like a map of every meeting, decision, and insight, so you can always comfortably trace your way back to where the logic started.

Our brand &
marketing process

01

Strategy

Strategy first, so nobody builds toward different things.

We start with a brand strategy workshop that defines your purpose, your audience, your competitive advantage, and your personality. Turning those into a documented rationale means the team can build towards the same vision, and settle any misalignments early.

02

Positioning

We shape the message.

What you stand for, who it's for, and how you're different to your competitors, through a StoryBrand7 structure that puts the customer at the center. A product nobody can explain doesn't sell, so this is where we make it crystal.

03

Identity

We design the visual system.

Logo, color, typography, illustration, and motion, built to work across every place the brand shows up. Brands means consistency – it's what makes them recognizable in fractions of seconds, and we take care of that from top to toe.

04

Guidelines

Templates and rules, built for daily use.

We package it into a brand manual and a kit your team can use without us: usage rules, templates, and ready assets. A brand only holds together if the people using it every day can use it without struggling.

05

Activation

Brands live in the wild, not in guidelines.

We put the brand to work across the channels that matter: the website, pitch decks, social, ads, and email, with a go-to-market plan when you're launching. Guidelines are a must, but brands live in the wild, in every asset, ad, deck, and landing page that feels like one story.

Selected work

Humanix brand identity with a 3D logo mark

Humanix, a brand for a category that doesn’t exist yet

Humanix builds an AI platform that protects the human side of cybersecurity, spotting social engineering across voice, chat, and help desk channels. The hard part was explaining a problem people have no mental model for. We started with a brand discovery workshop, and the answers shaped everything after it: identity, website, motion, and 3D.

CoachHub app on a tablet

CoachHub, an established brand, made sharper

CoachHub runs a B2B coaching platform that matches employees and managers with certified coaches and measures the impact on the business. We refreshed the brand around its new "people powered change" positioning and carried it into an updated web design, so the story customers hear matches the one the company now tells.

Medusmo brand identity and website

Medusmo, identity that won awards

Medusmo is a B2B platform for workflow automation. We built a distinctive visual layer in Webflow: custom 3D models, a bespoke 3D logo, parallax motion, and refined typography. The work was recognized with an Awwwards Site of the Day and Developer Award, and a CSS Design Awards Website of the Day.

Questions?
We've got you.

How much do brand and marketing services cost?

That depends on what exactly you need – focused brand strategy workshop plus a light set of guidelines will come to less than a full identity system with a logo, illustration, and marketing templates, and a go-to-market campaign is its own line again. Cost tracks how much of the brand you’re building and how many channels it has to cover.

How long does a branding project take?

A brand strategy workshop and a set of guidelines can move in a few weeks. A full identity system, applied across a website and marketing collateral, runs longer. Because we work in phases with concrete deliverables, you see the strategy and direction take shape early rather than waiting for one final reveal. We share the phase plan and the deliverables up front, so you always know what lands when.

What’s the difference between brand strategy and brand identity?

Brand strategy is the thinking: who you’re for, what you stand for, and how you’re different. Brand identity is how that looks and sounds: the logo, color, type, and voice. Strategy comes first and identity makes it visible. A logo without a strategy behind it is decoration.

Do you do the branding and the website, or only the brand?

Either. We can define the brand and hand it off, or carry it straight into a site, since our web design services and web development services are part of the same studio. Building the brand and the site together means the identity and the pages are designed as one system rather than stitched together later.

What do we get at the end of a branding project?

A brand you can use. Depending on scope, you leave with a strategy, a positioning and messaging document, a full visual identity, a brand manual, and a kit of logo files and templates, so your team can stay on brand without coming back to us for every asset.
