How we helped CloudKitchens build a cohesive global design infrastructure powering thousands of kitchens, couriers, and customers worldwide.

Local light-industrial workers are a few taps away.

Introduction

CloudKitchens redefines how restaurants operate in the digital age, transforming underused real estate into efficient, delivery-only kitchens. Our team partnered with CloudKitchens to design a scalable ecosystem that supports their global operations - from kitchen staff and couriers to administrators and business partners.

We built a unified design system and end-to-end UX/UI framework covering multiple applications that streamline every touchpoint of the order process.

The result was a seamless, data-driven experience that keeps food moving and businesses growing.

The challenge

With operations spanning continents and diverse user groups - chefs, drivers, customers, and analysts - CloudKitchens faced a complex design challenge: how to unify dozens of disconnected tools and interfaces into a single, consistent system.

Our task was to design not just screens, but the entire design logic powering the ecosystem - a foundation that could scale across teams, products, and markets without losing clarity or speed.

All-in-one restaurant

tech ecosystem

Imagine a single cloud-based command centre where your restaurant's front-of-house and kitchen teams are fully aligned. Every incoming order appears instantly, every cost is tracked in real time, and your live margin is visible at a glance.

With this one system, managers gain strategic clarity. They see what’s being sold, how much it’s costing, and where the profit is flowing - while kitchen teams operate with precision and purpose, knowing exactly what to cook, when to cook it and how it influences the business.

By combining comprehensive order management with dynamic cost insights and a unified dashboard, the result is sharper decision-making, faster service, reduced waste and, ultimately, healthier margins for every shift and every service.

Kitchen Management System

A powerful cloud-based control centre built for multi-site restaurant operations. One dashboard where a regional manager sees every location’s live orders, margin streams and delivery-platform activity (DoorDash, Uber Eats and more) across the day. You get instant alerts when a location deviates from profit targets, when third-party channel volumes spike, or when labour-costs eat into margin.

From consolidated revenue and cost data to drill-downs by outlet and delivery partner, this module gives you macro-visibility and micro-control. Spot trends, fix issues before they balloon, and steer multiple venues with one unified system.

Order Management

This is a live-action command hub designed for the shift manager at the helm of every service: instantly see every ongoing order, its current status, preparation time, special requests and real-time margin impact.

With this module, your shift manager can foresee bottlenecks, allocate resources on the fly, and proactively intervene - whether that means expediting a delayed order, adjusting staffing on the line, or communicating directly with the front-of-house to delight a guest.

The result is a seamless alignment of kitchen execution and guest experience, powered by a cloud-based system built to keep pace with the high-velocity rhythm of restaurant service.

Design System

We designed a rich system composed of thousands of individual UI elements - from buttons and dropdowns to filters and date-pickers - each crafted with precision to serve distinct user personas such as chefs, couriers and managers.

Direction

Every component was built to feel native to its user: a chef can tap a large, clear button in a busy kitchen, a courier can easily select from a quick dropdown on their phone, and a manager at a desk can navigate complex data with refined controls and visuals. We ensured consistency across the system so that even as the user context shifts - kitchen, delivery or office - the visual language, behaviour and interaction logic remain familiar and intuitive.
